Nudity? From Google??

I have quite a few photos (mostly of the boy to be honest) and I have them stored on my home server. But lately I’ve been thinking “what if that dies on me?” A good idea might be to have the photos also backed up to a cloud service on the web.

After reading about the latest SkyDrive from Microsoft, I checked it out, was suitably impressed and then went about the painstakingly slow task of uploading everything. But it was whilst mid-upload that I thought, “Gee, I wonder what Picassa’s cloud storage is like?”

Being a curious fellow, I went and had a peek.

Interestingly they have a bit where you can browse public folders AND also see recently published pics from random folk all around the world. Somehow, I wasn’t expecting to see this though…
